Virtual Job Fairs
Oklahoma Virtual Job Fair (VJF) is an innovative way of providing opportunities for employers and job seekers to connect while allowing for the safety of all as we deal with COVID-19. As an online event, Employers and Job Seekers meet in a virtual environment and use various tools such as: chat rooms, webcasts, training/workshop videos, webinars and employer online hiring sites. Utilizing a VJF eliminates geographical barriers and enables more accessibility to the event for the job seekers and employers (citizens can connect at any location with internet, without transportation and distance issues). Getting a Virtual Job Fair going is easy. Please follow the instructions below.
Requesting a Virtual Job Fair
Please use the Form and Templates below to request a VJF directly with the VJF Coordinator. Please fill out the “VJF Request Form” below once you know the nature of the Job Fair that you would like to initiate. The request form is short and requires the basic information such as employer details and the dates for your VJF. In addition, you will need to complete or have the employer(s) complete the three templates also found on this page. The first is a listing of the open positions the employer(s) are looking to fill. The second template asks for the information regarding the employer’s virtual engagement with job seekers – virtual chat availability. The final template will be used to provide any reference/ resource material e.g. company information, videos, applications, that the employer(s) would like to have on the VJF site.
You only need to submit the VJF Request Form in order to get the process started. The VJF Coordinator can work with you to provide the information necessary to “go live” with your Fair. When the Fair starts there will be a dedicated Website where Job Seekers will come to view information about available jobs, and times which the employer(s) will be available to chat with potential candidates.
